Dance review: “Glory of Numbers” is about the beauty.
The evening celebrated the 25th anniversary of Nrityanjali, the dance organization led by Meena Telikicherla, a master teacher and a local treasure of tireless devotion to her art. She is also a magnetic performer who, in her 60s, danced alongside women in their 20s and lit up the stage like a torch. Her group is in the midst of a $25,000 fundraising quest to bring “Glory of Numbers” and its 10 female performers to India this winter.
